CLUB NOTES
On Sunday Galway played Round 2 of their Allianz League Division 1 campaign against Roscommon in Pearse Stadium. A difficult game but a tight game with both teams level going into the final moments. However, Roscommon turned over possession to score the winning point in the dying moments of the game. The match finished Galway 0-08 Roscommon 0-9. Dylan McHugh and Ian Burke started the game and Bernard Power was a sub. Dylan scored a point in the 1st half while Ian scored Galway’s eighth and final point of the game.
The next game for Galway is against Tyrone for Round 3 of the Allianz Football League, Sunday 19th February at 1:45pm, in Tuam Stadium.
