The Club Lotto is vital to supporting the Club in maintaining the great facilities we have and to ensure the underage teams are fully resourced with training equipment, first aid, etc. Our membership numbers are growing at each grade which puts an increased demand on the playing surfaces and equipment. Your continued support for our Lotto in greatly needed and appreciated, as it enables us to meet this demand year-round.

 

Over the coming weeks we have great Lucky Dip prizes to be won, including 2 All-Ireland QF Tickets for Galway v Armagh on June 20th, Dinner for 2 at a local restaurant and a Hotel Stay in Ireland.

GAMES

Galway minor footballers played Dublin on Sunday evening in O’Connor Park, Tullamore, Castlebar in the All-Ireland Minor Football Quarter-Final. Well done to Alan Glynn and team as they came out victorious on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-7. Particular congratulations to Corofin players Vinny Gill and Ross Coen who put in brilliant performances.

 

Our Junior A team were defeated by Glinsk on Friday in the Junior A Championship North. After a spirited display, the scoreline finished up 4-13 to 3-6.

 

The Junior (Div 4B) game fixed for Sunday in Corofin against Ballinasloe was not played and was conceded by Ballinasloe. Their next game is currently fixed for Tuesday 21st June at 8pm in Corofin against Caherlistrane.

 

The Junior C team are due to play Glenamaddy in Corofin this weekend, details yet to be confirmed.

 

Having finishing top of Division 1, the Senior team host Milltown on Friday night at 8pm in their Division 1 Play-Off.

 

After finishing top of Division 3A, the Intermediates host Mícheál Breathnach in Corofin on Sunday at 2pm for their Division 3A Play-Off.

UNDERAGE NOTES

The U7-U10 boys and U8-U10 girls enjoyed a great blitz on Saturday morning in Belclare. Plenty of footballing skills were on display from all the kids and everyone really enjoyed the morning. Well done to all the kids involved and thank you to the organisers, coaches and all who helped out.
