No winner of this week’s Lotto Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 4, 20, 22, 30. Four Match 3’s; Caroline Cooley, Gary Fahy, Lisa Hynes & Ruth Daly. Two Lucky Dips; Donagh Killilea & Bridget Walsh. Seller’s Prize; John Coen. Next week’s Jackpot is €5,150 in the Club Office.
CLUB NOTES
The Junior game against Claregalway last Friday was postponed and is rescheduled for this Friday in Corofin at 6:30pm.
On Saturday the Senior team hosted Mountbellew/Moylough and made it 2 wins from 3 in the 3Dental Div1 League with a scoreline of 3-17 to 0-06. Goals from Micheál Lundy, Matthew Cooley and Conor Cunningham. Their next game is fixed for Sunday 23rd April against Annaghdown, in Annaghdown.
Afterwards the Junior C team, the Club’s 5th Adult Team, also hosted Mountbellew/Moylough in their Junior C Championship North opener. A two-goal blow in the first half made it a difficult battle for the 2nd half. Mountbellew/Moylough ran out comfortable winners but it was great to see the Junior C’s compete as well as they did against a very strong opposition. The next fixture for the Junior C’s is against St Gabriels in Corofin on Saturday 22nd April.
On Sunday the Intermediate team travelled to Inverin to play Mícheál Breathnach in Round 3 of their 3Dental Div3A League. The teams were level at half-time with both teams on 4 points. The 2nd half say the teams trading points but a 7 minute spell saw Micheál Breathnach’s score 4 unanswered points and ran out eventual winners by two points on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-08. The Intermediate’s next Div3A fixture is on Sunday 23rd April against Oughterard in Corofin.
The Junior A team (4th Adult Team) travelled to Caltra on Sunday evening for Round 1 of the Junior A Championship North. The team battled well against a strong opposition but Caltra gradually pulled away and finished the game comfortable winners. The next fixture for the Junior A’s is yet to be confirmed.
A reminder that the U19’s travel to Monivea on Wednesday for their U19 North League game against Monivea-Abbey. Game starts at 7:00pm.

The Club extends its deepest sympathy to the family of Breege Donnellan who passed away last Wednesday, to her sons Michael and Aidan, daughter Maria, extended family and friends. Breege was a tremendous Club supporter, both she and her late husband Eamon really embraced the journey that transformed Corofin GAA in the 1990’s, forging enduring friendships along the way. Wonderful memories, from Corofin to Croke Park, enjoyed by the whole family will undoubtedly be a great comfort to her loving family in these difficult days.
We also sympathise with the families and friends of the following who have died recently:

CLUB SHOP GOING ONLINE – STOCK CLEARANCE SALE
The Club Shop will be going online with O’Neills from early May! You will be able to browse and buy all you Club gear and clothing online.
Ahead of the move, the Club Shop in Corofin Village (located behind Raftery’s) will be having a Clearance Sale for all remaining stock with up to 50% off selected lines (subject to availability).
Club Shop will be open this weeks for extended hours for the sale; Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th 6:30pm – 7:30pm and Saturday 16th 10:00am – 12:30pm.
Details of the launch of the online shop will be announced in due course.
