Congrats to our Junior B team who captured the North Board Final on Sunday evening. They defeated Claregalway by 1-10 to 0-10 in the final played in Barnaderg, with the vital goal being scored by Darragh Collins. Our seniors won their final group game defeating Monivea-Abbey by 2-10 to 1-6 played on Sunday afternoon in Kenny Park, Athenry. The Corofin goals came in the first half thanks to the Silke brothers, Liam and Darragh. Well done everyone. The quarter finals of the senior championship are scheduled for the weekend of 16 / 17 October. Our intermediate team lost their final group game suffering a one point defeat to Williamstown on a scoreline of 0-9 to 1-7, played on Saturday afternoon in Milltown. Our junior team lost their final group game in round 3 of the junior championship, north with a 2-9 to 3-14 defeat by Claregalway played in Claregalway on Saturday evening. CONGRATS:
Congratulations to Adam Hession from Monivea Boxing Club who was crowned the National Senior Elite champion at 57kg at the National Stadium on Saturday.
