LOTTO: In the lotto draw held on Tuesday 19 March we had no winners. The numbers drawn were 11, 25, 28, 30. The seller's prize went to Gerry Collins. The jackpot for the draw which was held in the Club Office on Monday 25 March was €11,750. ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONS: We achieved the pinnacle of success for Corofin GAA Club on Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day, in winning the All-Ireland Club Final, defeating Nemo Rangers of Cork by 2-19 to 0-10. This was a magnificent team performance with our boys playing a wonderful brand of football from start to finish. Congratulations to all involved in this great victory to capture the Club’s third All-Ireland title. We thank our amazing supporters who travelled to Croke Park in huge numbers and braved the bitter cold to witness this victory. We wish to acknowledge all the well-wishers who lined the route of the homecoming cavalcade and accorded such a wonderful reception to the team. Thanks to everyone, including neighbouring parishes, who lit bonfires on the route home and on the tour of the parish and all those clubs and organisations who have sent us good wishes. MINORS: Our game against St. Gabriel’s in the Minor A Football League, North has been rescheduled for Corofin on Sunday at 12.30 pm. GALWAY: Galway footballers defeated Roscommon in the league on Saturday in Pearse Stadium. They play Tyrone, away, in the final game next weekend.
