LADIES FOOTBALL:

Congratulations to our minor team who are Connacht Minor Champions for 2017.  After a much more competitive final than last year, our magnificent minor team won by 4-13 to 2-10 over Glencar-Manorhamilton on Saturday afternoon played at the Connacht GAA Centre Of Excellence, Ballyhaunis.  We had five point scorers – Leanne Coen, Amy Coen, Amy O’Donovan, Louise Reilly and Laura McTigue.  Amy O’Donovan got us two goals at critical moments and Leanne scored a penalty and took a fourth goal. At the other end Karen Connolly made a dramatic penalty save, her second of the competition. Across the field the girls did themselves proud, working brilliantly and unselfishly as a team. A second consecutive Connacht title is a great result for such a fine team.

Please Note

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
