CLUB NOTES:
After a long break, our senior team returns to action when they take on Salthill-Knocknacarra in the senior football championship preliminary quarter-final next Saturday in Tuam Stadium at 3.45 pm.
The Club sends very special good wishes and best of luck to Daithí and Ronan Burke and the Galway hurling team as they attempt to capture the Liam McCarthy Cup for the first time in 29 years.
We play Kilkerrin-Clonberne in the Junior Championship at 6.45 in Tuam Stadium on Friday.
Our under 12 team lost out to Mountbellew-Moylough in a group 1 game played on Sunday.
We play Monivea-Abbey in the minor A Football Championship North Round 3 in Corofin on Monday at 7.00.

We lost to Monivea-Abbey by 1-14 to 3-10 in the minor A Football Championship North Round 3 played in Corofin on Monday.
LADIES FOOTBALL
Our Senior team lost their round 3 championship game on Sunday evening by the narrowest margin of a single point to Kilkerrin-Clonberne. Final score was 4-14 (26) to 2-21 (27). The result means we will play Claregalway in the Co Championship semifinal. We again had a magnificent nine scorers; Leanne 1-4, Amy O'D 1-1, Orla N 1-0, Aoife Creaven 1-0, Tracey 0-3, Amy C 0-2, Chelsey 0-2, Aoife Coen 0-1 and Aoife Newell 0-1. It was a team performance which should give us great hope that we can progress further in this year's championship. Thank you to all the management and panel for their efforts.
