Lotto numbers drawn were  drawn 22, 24, 30, 32.  No jackpot winner and one match 3, Colm Byrne.  Seller’s prize Patricia Langan.  Next week’s jackpot is €9,500 with draw in Club office.



 



CLUB NOTES:



Our juniors had a big win over Caltra in the Junior A Football Championship North Round 2 played in Tuam Stadium on Friday evening on a scoreline of 5-19 to 0-8.  Well done to team and mentors. 



 



We suffered defeat at the hands of Claregalway in the league, division 3 on Sunday on a scoreline of Corofin 1-9 to Claregalway 2-12. 



 



We played Claregalway in the minor A Football Championship North Round 2 in Corofin on Tuesday evening.   



 



The Division 1 League game versus Tuam Stars was postponed.  We play Caherlistrane in the league at 6.00 pm on Saturday evening in Caherlistrane.  



 



The Junior C Football Championship North Round 1 game in which we play Oranmore-Maree in Cregg (Annaghdown) has been rescheduled to Sunday next at 5.30 pm.



 



The Corofin GAA Summer School of Excellence continues until Friday.



 



Note:- Only paid up members of the Club can put their names down to be in the draw for All-Ireland hurling tickets.



 



Corofin GAA Club wishes to express heartfelt and sincere condolences to the family and friends of the late Tony Keady and also to the Oranmore-Maree and Killimordaly GAA Clubs.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.



We also sympathise with the families and friends of the following who have died recently, Kathleen Fahy, Cummer; Mary Hayes, Curryeighter; Vera Rafferty, Ballinderry/Limerick; Teresa Moggan, Cloonaglasha.  May they rest in peace.



 



LADIES FOOTBALL



Our Senior team had an important win in the second round of the championship on Friday evening defeating Caltra Cuans 4-18 to 3-6. We had an impressive nine individual scorers. Leanne got 2-2, Chelsey 1-4, Tracey 0-7, Aoife Coen got a brilliant first Senior Championship goal and there were points scores from Amy Coen, Aoife Newell, Aoife Creaven, Lisa Leonard and Rachel Burke (who added another senior championship point to her tally after the 0-2 which she got against Annaghdown). Well done to all the girls on the panel.



Our under16 girls won the inaugural Dympna Burke Memorial blitz in Dunmore on Sunday, defeating Annaghdown and Ballyhaunis in group stages and Tuam/Cortoon in the final 4-11 to 4-08.  Well done ladies.
