Well done the under 14s on winning two league games over the last two weeks.

LADIES FOOTBALL:

Gaelic4Girls continues to be a big hit!

54 girls, from Corofin are now registered with Gaelic4Girls program held every Wednesday in Belclare from 6-7 pm.  Despite the wet weather last Wednesday evening, all the girls fully participated in 60mins of great fun and coaching in Ladies Gaelic Football.  This programme continues for another 4 weeks and it is fantastic to see so many enthusiastic girls, who have little Gaelic Football experience enjoying themselves.

The girls are being taught the basic skills of Gaelic football on a fun basis. A major bonus from the programme is that all participants will get the chance to participate in a fun Mini Blitz with another Gaelic4Girls team after the 8-week program.  All girls participating will be presented with a Gaelic4Girls t-shirt and certificate.

We are holding a parents evening on this Wednesday evening, from 6.15-6.45pm in Belclare.  Parents will get a chance to meet the chairman and underage team coaches and can ask any questions about the girls joining the Ladies Gaelic Football club after Gaelic4Girls is over.
