CLUB NOTES:

The senior team had a well-merited win over Milltown in the John Dunne Cup last week on a score line of Corofin 3-8 to Milltown 1-4.  The Corofin goals came from Joe Canney, Ronan Steede and James Farragher.

The team returns to action on Saturday evening when they play Tuam Stars in the Division 1 league at 7.00 pm in Tuam Stars pitch.

The intermediate team play Oughterard in the Division 3 league on Sunday at 1.00 pm in Oughterard.

Hard luck to our under 21 team who surrendered their North Board title to Mountbellew – Moylough on Saturday evening on a score line of 1-11 to 1-6.   Many thanks to manager Fintan Forde and selectors Jimmy Sice, Brian Silke and PJ Langan for all their work with the team.

The minors play Monivea – Abbey in Monivea in the league this Wednesday evening at 7.00 pm.

Our under 14 Féile team played their games on Saturday in Dunmore.  They were in a group with Athenry, Tuam Stars and Dunmore MacHales.  The team failed to qualify from this group.  Thanks to all involved with the team.

Congratulations to the Sylane U14 hurling team who had an historic victory over Portumna in the Féile Final (Toddie Byrne Shield) recently on a score line of 6-11 to 1-04. They now progress to the National Finals in June. Best of luck to team and mentors.
