Club News
VERY IMPORTANT-The clubs AGM is on the 9th Dec at 8pm in the clubrooms. Please enusure that we get a large crowd in attendance for that very important meeting. It is open to all and any new members are more than welcome to come along.
The boys Juvenile section of the club held their annual AGM on Friday night 18th Nov in the club rooms.
The meeting was very well attended which enabled some very good discussions about the direction of this section of the club.
Key achievements during 2016 were
- Bringing home so much silverware
U16 – Division 4 Championship winners
U14 – Division 1 Championship winners.
U13 – Division 1 Championship Beaten Finalists.
U12 – Division 4 Beaten Finalists (2nd team). Winners of the Gowna and Bailieborough Tournaments and a cup from the Ballyboden Tournament.
U10 – Winners of Killinkere Tournament. Beaten finalists in Cross Tournament.
U8 – Winners of Cootehill Tournament
U6 – Many very impressive wins
- The annual Quiz
- The Glenn Crossan and Paddy Bird Memorial Tournament
- Fun Day
- Medal Presentation by Micky Harte
Were among the highlights during the year.
Officers elected for the 2017 year are
Chairman – Donal Clarke
Vice Chairman – Michael Kearney
Secretary – Brian Keegan
Underage Registrar – Cathal Sheridan
School Liaison Officers -- Michael Kearney and one other person yet to be asked.
Coaching Officer – Kevin McIntyre.
Thank you to all who contributed in so many ways during the year from the catering to the coaching to the sponsors.
Thank you to all 150 children who proudly represent their club and community when the ware the red and white of Bailieborough.
