CLUB NOTES

Our senior team defeated Aghaloo 4-14 to 2-13 in the final group game in the Jim Devlin Cup last Saturday, this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. they travel to play Carrickmore in the quarter final.

The U18’s were defeated 1-20 to 2-09 away to Donaghmore last Sunday, this Sunday at 2:00 p.m. they host Cookstown in Pairc Gheardhromma while at the same time the U18 Development team travel to play Donaghmore.

Our U14’s were defeated 4-03 to 1-11 away to Eskra last Saturday, this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. they play at home to Pomeroy. Conhghairdeas to U14 players Sean Colton, Daithi Corrigan, Patrick Turner, Sean Collins and Daire McKenna who were part of the Omagh CBS Corn Na nOg winning side last week, well done lads.

Youth coaching for U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 continues on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., all youth players must be registered to take part, if not already registered there are registration forms in Montague’s Shop, registration fee for youth’s is £10. There is a link on Facebook and sent through the youth groups on Whatsapp where you can sign up online also.

The club hosted a very successful ‘Addiction Awareness Evening’ in the Sports Centre last Friday evening with a good attendance, well done to all involved in organising this.

Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bun Rang (beginners) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Mean Rang (Intermediate) is also from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
