CLUB NOTES

Our senior team get their season underway this Thursday evening when they host Greencastle in the Jim Devlin Cup at 7:30 p.m. on the training pitch. Our U18’s had a good 5-14 to 3-19 victory over Trillick last Sunday. This Sunday they host Carrickmore in Pairc Gheardhromma at 11:00 a.m. while the U18 Development team travel to Dunmoyle to play Errigal Ciaran at the same time.

The U14 boys defeated Killyclogher 3-06 to 1-09 on Saturday morning while the young U14 development team lost out 5-10 to 2-08 to Carrickmore. This Saturday at 11:00 a.m. the U14 boys travel to play Trillick while the U14 Development team host Errigal Ciaran at the same time.

Club registration is now due, the club have kept their membership fee’s the same as last year so it is £250 for Cairde membership, £50 for adult membership and £10 for youth membership. There is a link on Facebook and sent through the youth groups on Whatsapp where you can sign up online and in addition there will be forms available to get and return in Montague’s Shop.

We would like to congratulate Seamus McQuaid who represented the club winning the county title in the recitation in the Scor Thir Eoghain, best of luck Seamus as you progress to Ulster.

Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bun Rang (beginners) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Mean Rang (Intermediate) is also from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the McVeigh (Gemma – Enniskillen), Lafferty (Vera – Ederney) and McGrath (Kathleen – Wexford) families on their recent bereavements.
