CLUB NOTES

Our reserve team get their season underway this Sunday at home to Trillick at 2:00 p.m.  

Comhghairdeas to our U18 development team who had a great win 2-13 to 0-10 away to Donaghmore last Saturday.  This Sunday at 5:00 p.m. our U18’s host Fintona in Pairc  Gheardhromma.  

Our U14’s also had a good victory last Saturday defeating Coalisland 6-18 to 4-05, this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. they play Owen Roes at home.  The U14 development team lost out 5-12 to 2-04 to a more physical Carrickmore team in a very encouraging performance last Saturday, this Saturday they play Errigal Ciaran at home at 12:30.  

Coaching continues on Saturday morning for U6.5’s, U8.5’s and U10.5’s at 10:00 a.m., all parents are reminded to join in the Whatsapp groups to keep up to date with times and dates for training sessions and games.  

Membership forms are still available in Montague’s Shop, membership fee’s are £10 for youth and £50 for adult, if anyone wants to join our Cairde scheme contact Joe, Aidy or any committee member.  

Ranganna damhsa (dancing classes) have now finished up for the year, thanks to all who attended and thanks to Marie Phelan for all her help with these. The classes will resume in the Autumn.  

Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór. 

There are still come editions of our Club History book ‘Dromore St. Dympna’s Club and Parish’ available, the books are priced at £20 each and are available for purchase in Montague’s Shop or can be bought online via the link on our club website and social media, postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
