CLUB NOTES
Comhghairdeas to Brian, Fearghal, Adrian, John, Paudie, Jack, Oisin and all their teammates at Omagh CBS on the magnificent achievement of winning the Hogan Cup in Croke Park last Saturday, it was great to see so many club supporters at the final, it was a wonderful occasion and a proud day for the club to have so many players represented.
Our U18’s are back in action this Sunday when they travel to Dunmoyle to play Errigal Ciaran at 4:00 p.m.
Our U14’s are also back in action on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. when they host Dungannon in Pairc Gheardhromma.
Coaching begins this Saturday morning for U6.5’s and U8.5’s at 10:00 a.m., all parents are asked to keep an eye out on social media for details and coaching contacts.
There will also be an opportunity to pay membership on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the changing rooms, all youth layers must be registered before taking part in training, membership fee’s are £10 for youth and £50 for adult, membership forms are also available in Montague’s Shop, if anyone wants to join our Cairde scheme contact Joe, Aidy or any committee member.
Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
There are still come editions of our Club History book ‘Dromore St. Dympna’s Club and Parish’ available, the books are priced at £20 each and are available for purchase in Montague’s Shop or can be bought online via the link on our club website and social media, postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
Votes of sympathy were passed at our recent monthly meeting to the Harpur, Large and Devlin (Coalisland) families on their recent bereavements.
