CLUB NOTES
Thank you to everyone who attended our mass and talk evening in the hall last weekend, it was great to see the big crowds, a proud night for the club. Our U20’s lost out 0-09 to 4-06 on Monday evening.
The U16 team had a great 4-05 to 2-08 win at home to Clonoe last Saturday, They were defeated by Carrickmore this evening 3-09 to 4-09. Next game is away to Cookstown this Sunday at 2:00. The U16 Development team were unlucky to lose at home to Omagh last 2-06 to 4-03, this Sunday they are away to Donaghmore at 3:30.
Our youth coaching for U8.5, U10.5 and U12.5 continues this Saturday at 10:00. Our Gaelic Start program for pre-school and P1 takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 in the Sports Hall.
All members are reminded that membership forms are available in Montague’s Shop, the fee for mens club are just £10 for children and £50 for adults, anyone who wants to join our Cairde Droim Mór scheme can contact Gerard (07840 037085), Aidy (07597 071205) or Joe (07821 719969) for more details.
Dancing classes continue on Tuesday evenings in Dromore Sports Hall from 8:15 to 9:45, come along and bring a friend for a good evenings craic, refreshments will be provided and the cost is just £3.
Irish language classes for beginners and improvers continue on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome. The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
