CLUB NOTES
Our seniors defeated Coalisland 1-09 to 0-09 in the league last Sunday. This Sunday all roads lead to Healy Park at 5:30 where we face Coalisland in the senior championship final, best of luck to all the players and management involved, we look forward to seeing you all there.
There will be a special ‘Up For The Final’ coffee morning in St. Patrick’s Hall on Sunday from 10:00-12:00, with free face painting for all children, donations are voluntary with funds going towards our primary school coaching.
Comhghairdeas to Barry Collins and Ryan McMenamin who both played starring roles in the All Ireland Masters final where Tyrone defeated Dublin last weekend.
Coaching for the U7.5’s will now take place on Tuesday evenings at the Dromore Sports Complex from 6:30 to 7:15.
A reminder to everyone that tickets are out now for our 5 week Xmas draw with £3,000 in prizes, ticket are available in Montagues shop, Newscast and from any committee member as well as online.
Anyone wishing to join up with the Dad’s N Lad’s recreational football let Joe (07821 719969) know so he can add you to the Watsapp group, there was a great turnout at the first session and the next session takes place next Wednesday.
This Saturday from 12:30 to 2:30 we are hosting an Irish Language afternoon in St. Patrick’s Hall, we would encourage as many as possible to come along and learn Amhran Na Bhfainn and a few basic phrases relating to Gaelic Football (Peil Ghaelach) that can be used on Sunday. The morning is free of charge, contact Conal on 07815 785962 to book a place.
