There will be no senior or reserve games this weekend. However, there was some good news the following day when the U16’s defeated Clonoe after an epic battle and extra time in their championship semi-final to qualify for our second county final in a row. The date and venue for the final is yet TBC. The U13’s continued their successful run with a victory over Badoney tonight in Gardrum Park. This Saturday 1st October will be the end of the Saturday morning coaching sessions for the U8’s, U10’s and U12’s. Coaching will then switch to indoor sessions in the Sports Complex on Wednesday evenings. Further details to be distributed. The club will be hosting a Big Breakfast morning taking place at the pitch this Saturday morning with breakfasts served from 9:30 to 12:30. All parents and club supporters are encouraged to come along with all of the proceeds going in aid of youth development. County representatives from both our men and ladies clubs will be there with the respective Ulster Cups.
Our Running / Walking group will recommence after their summer break next Thursday evening and every Thursday from 8:00 at Gardrum Park. Exercise makes you feel better in mind and body so don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today. This is free of charge to anyone in the parish and caters for all ages and fitness levels.
