Annaghdown GAA

The AGM of Annaghdown Ladies Gaelic Football took place on Wednesday the 28^th of Feb at the clubhouse in Cregg. The Chairperson thanked everyone involved in the club in 2008 - their hard work and time was much appreciated. It was a very successful year with pride of place going to our U12 team who reached the county final under the guidance of Brian Tuohy. The following people were elected as managers for the forthcoming year: U14 Brian Tuohy; U12 Collette Walsh and U10 Peter Conroy.The following officers were elected for the 2009 season: Chairperson, Martina Coen; Treasurer, Ita Scully; PRO, Patricia Fahy; Register, Lorraine Scully; County Board Delegates Cindy Crow and Ita Scully. A special word of thanks to both to our out going officers Collette Walsh and Mary Killlilea for all their hard work and dedication to the ladies club over the past number of years. We would like to wish Martina Coen all the best in her new role as Chairperson. A date for registration has been set as March 15^th in Cregg from 10.30 to 12.00. All players and members must attend on this day.A meeting has been convened for Wednesday 4^th of Feb at 8.15pm in Cregg. It is anticipated that all parents of underage players and all adult members will attend.Best of luck to our minors as they take on Naomh Muire in the Championship in Cregg Feb 7^th at 3pm.
